SRC's “Black Pat” Slot Car tires are the benchmark tire for racing. This is what our test drivers and the customers who internationally have supported and celebrate the existence of our tires let us know.

The SRC team wanted to go further in the manufacture of Slot Car tires, looking for a product that meets the most demanding Slot users who are none other than the professionals of our hobby. Our goal is to achieve your approval by developing tires capable of making a difference on the stopwatch.

Starting from rubber as the main material (used in 99% of plastic competition tracks) we have created different formulas, types of tires and hardnesses. In this way the driver can adapt his car to his type of driving or type of route. Of course the result is the result of many tests with our trusted test pilots.

Slot Car SRC Tires: Types and Technical Characteristics.

MTX Compound

Rubber base material from which we start to carry out all the tests to later evolve the hardness* and wear. Rear section tire with different hardness: Soft in composition. Perfect wear. Recommended for tracks with eroded plastic grain.

“Black Pat” MAX Compound

“Black Pat” tires combine the rubber base material with the “Black Pat” compound created exclusively by SRC. This makes them unique tires and drivers' favorites. They maintain the wear of the MTX but with a delay that allows you to be demanding on the track and with that differentiating grip in the sector. Rear section tire. Regulated wear. Recommended for tracks with eroded plastic grain.
