The SRC BMW 2.8CS CHRONO LEGENDS - FINA TRIBUTE in its reference 50504 is delivered with a decal sheet to be applied by the customer.
The customer can use the decals to create their own unique decoration, but if they prefer to use the suggested decoration, the complete installation diagram is provided below.
### Steps to apply waterslide decals:
1. Preparation: - Make sure the model's surface is clean and free of dust or grease. You can use a soft cloth to clean it.
2. Die-cut decal (independent varnish): - The decal is independent, although we recommend cutting the decal to be placed to separate it from the panel without wetting the others.
3. Warm water: Fill a container with warm (not hot) water and submerge the decal in it for about 2-3 seconds, or until you see it separate from the backing paper. Warm water helps the adhesive activate more easily.
4. Using the brush: - Using a soft brush, you can apply a little water to the surface of the model where you will place the decal. This will help the decal slide and position more easily.
5. Placement: - Carefully remove the decal from the water and place it on the model. You can use the brush to move it to the desired position. If you need to adjust the
position, you can do it while the decal is still wet.
6. Drying Excess Water: - Use a piece of absorbent paper or a soft cloth to gently dry off excess water around the decal. Do this carefully so as not to detach the decal or damage the design.
7. Final adjustment: - If necessary, use the brush to remove any air bubbles or wrinkles. You can moisten the brush with water to make this process easier.
8. Drying: - Allow the decal to dry completely before applying any protective sealant or clearcoat. If using fixatives (Microsol, Microset, etc.), it is recommended to do so when the decal is adhered to the body in the desired position and wet. Do not apply these fixatives when the decal is dry.
